I have more than ten years of experience editing video for fast-paced digital and live news outlets on tight deadlines. I can create short social native clips, explainer-style videos that dive deep into a topic, Q&A-style multicam interviews, and everything in between. I am adept at building videos using original footage, pictures, and charts, and I have a deep knowledge of fair use rules for third-party material. I have experience creating 2D graphs and graphics, and I can work with other artists to conceptualize more complex graphics. 

One of my favorite parts of any project is turning the abstract ideas in a script into a compelling visual experience that connects with a viewer. I have managed projects big and small for startup digital newsrooms and legacy broadcast programs. I can lay out timelines, set production goals and create schedules for myself and a team. For me, each video is a puzzle waiting to be solved. 

When I’m not creating videos, I enjoy watching new shows with my two cats and fiancé, learning new craft hobbies and walking around new (to me!) neighborhoods in DC.
